TEAM SWEET AND SASSY SAM is participating in the CHOC Walk in the Park on Sunday, October 30, 2016 at the Disneyland®Resort.
As most of you know, Sami spends ALOT of time inpatient at CHOC! Our girl has been a patient of this hospital since she was a baby and endured her first long hospital stay at the age of just 6 months old! We are beyond grateful for the incredible care that our girl receives when she is there. Living with a rare disease that is not well understood is a challenge beyond words but our Medical Team at CHOC never gives up despite the dificulties in treating her condition. THEY are the reason that our girl is able to thrive as best she can, LIVE each day to the fullest, and inspire others to spread HOPE!
Because we spend so much time inpatient, we have the unique experience of seeing the increidble care and compassion given to all of the patients and their families. Orange County is BLESSED to have such a great Children's Hospital in its own neighborhood:)
Please consider joining our TEAM as a walker! In order to WALK, each individual walker (3 years old and above) only has to raise a minimum of 85$! You can register here online and it will guide you to set up your personal fundraising webpage! You can then send out donation requests easily and be prepared to have some FUN with TEAM SWEET AND SASSY SAM:) We will be sending out more information as the walk gets closer about Team T-Shirts and any PRE-Walk Fun that will be sponsored by Sami's own foundation called Bacon Bits of Hope!
The WALK will be a BLAST as we team up and wander through Disneyland, California Adventure, and Downtown Disney during the wee hours of Sunday Morning, October 30th!!! We know our Sweet and Sassy Sam will be there with her Mickey Ears on and ready to ROLL!
We HOPE you will consider joining us in our mission of having some Sweet and Sassy Fun, Spreading some HOPE, and raising some much needed funds for CHOC to continue to do what they do BEST which is to care for the most precious pediatric patients right here in our own community!
